Azerbaijan got the first place among many nations from different places.

Azerbaijan took the first place in the International Cultural Festival organized by the Emory University on April 3, 2004, in Atlanta, USA.

This was third victory of Azerbaijan among different countries: the first was in 2000, the second in 2003, and the last – in 2004.

Over 50 countries were competing and again we showed to the world that our country has a rich culture and traditions. In the festival there were presented the flag of the Republic, national carpets, souvenirs, cuisine, garment, music, and dancing.

The Azerbaijan were representing by our nationals who are presently training or employed in Atlanta. Among our nationals there were Prof. of ASOA Salahaddin Yusifov and graduates of the MBA Program at ASOA: Elshan Rahimov, Rufat Mejidov, Farid Orujev who are presently visiting Georgia State University for having faculty development courses.
